Share the Bounty – Nov. 9 & 10
Each November the Niagara Wine Trail hosts an annual fundraising event to support local charities and food pantries benefitting the communities along the trail.
Each winery accepts either a monetary donation or a non-perishable donation in exchange for tastings this weekend.
This year Long Cliff Winery is donating all tasting fees collected during the event (November 9 & 10) plus $1 from each bottle sold, to the Niagara County 4-H Working Goat program.
4‑H is America’s largest youth development organization, where kids build life skills by leading hands-on projects in areas like science, health, agriculture and civic engagement.
Over 1,000 young people aged 5 to 19 participate in 4-H activities in Niagara County each year! (Including our very own J, who participated last year in the Working Goat and Poultry programs, prepared and gave his first public presentation, cared for his goat during Fair Week at the Niagara Country Fair and earned his first 4-H ribbons for showing his animal in the showring!)
More young people need the kind of hands-on, youth-led experiences that 4‑H programs provide- Experiences where they learn by doing, grow from failure, express their ideas and use their influence to drive positive outcomes.
Nouveau Night: LIMITED Tickets Still Available!

Inspired by the French tradition of “Beaujolais Day,” our hometown Nouveau Night festivities are about our community coming together, cheering on our local farmers, and enjoying the literal fruits of their labor!
During this one-night only event, we invite guests into the wine cellar to toast the season with us as we bottle the first wine – new, or “nouveau,” wine – made from our 2024 Harvest. Having gone through such a short fermentation period, we promise you a red wine that’s light, bright, and jubilantly fruity – pleasing to every palate & perfect for the holidays!
THIS YEAR’S NOUVEAU is “new” like never before… Each growing season presents it’s own crop of challenges and obstacles we work throughout the season to navigate before harvest season. It’s part of the reason the same wine from the same vineyard can taste radically different from one year to the next. The weather, growing conditions and grapes truly do change from year to year. This year our Leon Millot crop was nearly decimated by the birds eating the berries (and in some cases stripping entire vines of their fruit) before we had our canons up and running for the season. For the first year ever, our nouveau wine won’t be made from Leon Millot grapes, as we simply don’t have enough, but instead will be made from Pinot Noir!
While we’re disappointed to lose so much of our grape harvest, we are so excited to experiment with the Noir this year to create our first ever batch of PINOT NOUVEAU!
Each ticket holder takes a turn bottling, corking, and labeling their very own bottle of Nouveau to take home, with refreshments and light hors d’eourves available while they wait.
SPACE IS LIMITED for this special event – and we’re already half way to capacity! Reserve your tickets today to guarantee your spot!
WINE CLUB MEMBERS receive one complimentary ticket per membership to Nouveau Night!
